Adalbert Stiter and the problem of the skew lines in the history of literature

Abstract

An essay on the phenomen of skew lines in history of literature is based on the perception of Stifter's work in Bohemia and on a German speaking environment in the 2nd half of the 19th cent. and points out the paralel between the positions of Stifter and Bolzano.
