The rules of the team interpreting for the sign language interpreters

Abstract

This material provides basic insight into the issues of team interpreting, in which both hearing and deaf interpreters work together. In the theoretical part of the text, the possible types of team cooperation are examined and explained, in addition to the rules that have to be followed when putting the interpreting teams together and working in them.

In addition to that, the material deals with the deaf interpreters: the necessary criteria that they have to comply with and how the ethical code of the interpreter is mandatory for them.
