Abstract
This chapter contains practice guidelines for the treatment of patients with schizophrenia. Guidelines refers to the care strategies developed to assist physicians in clinical decision making.
The chapter contains a review of acute phase and maintenance phase antipsychotic treatment, psychotherapy and psychosocial interventions.
