Abstract

Considering an elderly patient we assume decreased reserves of proteins caused by a lower physical activity and nourishment intake. Malnutrition during an acute illness leads to aggrevated course, self sufficiency loss and decondition of the elderly patients.

The aim of the research is to answer a question of how prompt nutrition support and physiotherapy influence a long-term prospects of seniors overcoming acute illness.
