Aortic valve sparing surgery-early and mid term outcomes

Abstract

Mid term results of aortic valve sparing surgery including aortic root remodeling, aortic valve reimplantation and aortic leaflet reconstruction. The mid term result of our cohort is favorable without need of reoperation, with the good function of aortic valve and 100% survival.

This new surgical technique is promising and in certain indication is the treatment of choice in patients with aortic regurgitation and/or aortic root dilatation
