Abstrakt
This report analyse data on 177 renal biopsies performed in 174 children in the East Bohemian region. The aim was to evaluate the diagnostic benefit of the procedure and to assess the safety of renal biopsy and prevalence of clinical complications.
The current praxis of renal biopsy is safe with high clinical benefit, yielding a definite diagnosis and/or prognosis in sick children.
