Renal biopsy in children with steroid-dependent nephrotic syndrome

Abstrakt

There is lack of consensus on the necessity of renal biopsy in children with steroid-dependent nephrotic syndrome prior to cytotoxic therapy. Based on our results, we support the decision that renal biopsy prior to cyclophosphamide treatment is not obligatory in patients with steroid-dependent NS.
