Abstract

We report the case of a 59-year-old woman with a 3-day history of abdominal pain and constipation. Pain abdominal X-ray demonstrated dilated bowel loops and a few air-fluid levels in the mesogastrium.

Abdominal ultrasound revealed cholecystolithiasis and mild dilatation of bowel loops in the mesogastrium as well. The patient underwent surgery with enterotomy with gallstone extraction and was released from hospital to home care nine days after surgical intervention.
