Abstract

Primary central nervous system lymphoma is a rare form of extranodal lymphoma and involves the brain parenchyma, leptomeninx, spinal cord and eye involvement. Combined-modality treatment with high-dose methotrexate followed by whole brain radiotherapy has potential to induce high rates of complete remissions and improve survival especially for younger individuals.

Treatment should be started as soon as possible after diagnosis.
