Abstract

Radiobiological study comparing tumor control (TCP) and risk of acute and late complications (NTCP) of low dose rate (LDR) brachytherapy and high dose rate (HDR) brachytehrapy in the treatment of tongue cancer. HDR brachytherapy has a higher risk of complications with the same tumor control in comparison with LDR brachytherapy.
