Abstract

An objective exploration of neurobiological activity represents a wide application area covered by numerous approaches. An overview, presented in this contribution, focus to principles and spatio-temporal properties of the most used methods in brain/mind studies.

A closer look is provided in widely used non-invasive techniques of the event related cortical potentials, the functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging and finally the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation representing an interfering method.
