Abstract
The postgraduate course summarized the news in the whole field of endocrinology. Leading experts presented latest developments in disorders of pituitary, thyroid gland, adrenal glands, parathyroid glands, male gonads and ovaries.
Particular attention was paid to cooperation between paediatric endocrinologists and endocrinologists for adults in treatment patients with hypopituitarism, testicular retention, Turner's syndrome, congenital adrenal hyperplasia and bone metabolic disorders. Discussed was the question of screening of functional disorders of the thyroid gland in pregnancy.
