High-dose chemotherapy followed by autologous stem cell transplantation changes prognosis of IgD multiple myeloma

Abstract

IgD multiple myeloma (MM) is a rare plasma cell disorder. We analysed therapy results of IgD MM patients, because of the survival of these patients is generally accepted to be worse.

The results in patients with IgD type of MM treated with high-dose therapy were similar to that seen in other MM types.
