Pharmacology prophylaxis of acute pancreatitis after ERCP

Abstract

There is no reliable pharmacology prophylaxis of acute pancreatitis after ERCP nowadays. In high-risk patients, we consider to reasonable to administrate some pharmacology prophylaxis (non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs rectally, somatostatin i.v., oral allopurinol).
