Abstract
The mfERG technique allows to assess age-related functional alterations in the retina topographically, revealing information beyond that accessible with conventional methods. Besides an enhancement of our knowledge about ocular aging processes, the choice of physiologically coherent regions of interest may increase the sensitivity of detecting age-related change in studies analyzing retinal function.
