Abstract
A review of basic principles of dialysis therapy in diabetics. Up to 40% of dialysis patients are diabetics.
Among measures how to improve their outcome, dedicated predialysis care, diabetes control, adjusted pharmacotherapy, nutritional counseling, blood pressure control and individually targeted approach are the main principles.
