Abstract
In the review, authors focused on current summary of knowledge on biomarkers of myocardial ischemia and necrosis. They remind new universal definition of acute myocardial infarction according to consensus of ESC and AHJ.
Also remind data about new markers (cardiac troponins, heart fatty acid binding protein, ischemia modified albumin, glycogen phosphorylase BB) and their relation to diagnosis of myocardial ischemia and necrosis and their relation to progrosis.
