Non-invasive endoscopic imaging of the small intestine

Abstract

We dont consider wireless capsule endoscopy, double balloon enteroscopy (and/or intra-operative enteroscopy in properly selected indications) to be competitive but complementary. Nowadays, wireless capsule-directed double balloon enteroscopy seems to medically appropriate and cost-effective approach in most cases.
