The impact of inhaled corticosteroids treatment on exhaled breath condensate in cystic fibrosis patients

Abstract

Pharmacotherapy of cystic fibrosis patients with inhaled corticosteroids over 3 months increased the pH of exhaled breath condensate to values comparable with healthy subjects. The concentration of nitrates increased in the course of the study but remained less than those of healthy subjects.
