The efficacy of terlipressin in comparison with albumin in the prevention of circulatory changes after the paracentesis of tense ascites - a randomized multicentric study

Abstract

Postparacentesis circulatory dysfunction is a common complication in patients with refractory ascites treated by large volume paracentesis. Terlipressin could be an alternative to albumin in prevention.
