Abstract

The study identified 35 generic questionnaires for measuring quality of life in children and adolescents. Some of questionnaires are aimed at routine application in clinical practice; some of them are primarily developed for research purpose.

Questionnaires usually detect six areas of quality of life. The authors of questionnaires mainly focus on somatic or psychological level and less on the social one.

Time and material context of children's life is almost neglected. In somatic level more attention is drawn to negative aspects.

However, in psychological level the positive aspects are examined.
