Abstract

Polish princes Eliška (Lisa) Rejčka became the spouse of Wenceslas II, King of Bohemia, and after his death she was married for a short time to the king Rudolph of Habsburg. Firstly she resides in Hradec Králové where of that time the new building of Holy Spirit Church began.

Having removed to Brno she founded monastery Aula S. Mariae in the Old Brno for the Cistercian Order.

This study deals with Rejčka´s foundations and art patronage.
