Abstract
The article recounts important moments and theological reflections from encounters of Christian and Buddhism spirituality. It shows the need for dialogue between the two spiritual traditions, which are so different, so disparate, that no syncretic spiritual unity between them can be found, yet it is necessary to hold dialogue with a clear consciousness of one?s identity and to get to know the identity of the other, respect it, let oneself be enriched with new knowledge, raising one?s own spiritual awareness.
