Abstract

The worship of St. Wenceslaus, Bohemian Saint and land´s patron soon started to spread beyond the borders of the Bohemian Lands.

There was a great renaissance during the reign of Emperor Charles IV (d. 1378). From this time there preserved even significant monuments of art that testify the propagation of St.

Wenceslaus worship.
