Abstract
The article presents some of Bulgakov?s theological reflections on priesthood, in which one can recognise his personal search for the true essence of this holy office. In a brief synthesis he focuses on four topics: the essence of sacramental and hierarchic priesthood, the paschal dimension of holy priesthood, the liturgical/sacramental significance of priesthood, and finally, the exercise of hierarchic power.
