King Wenceslas II belonged to the most outstanding personalities on the royal throne of Bohemia. He was closely bond up with the Cistercian Order.
During his reign Heidenreich, the abbot at Sedlec, built its church on the cathedral grand plan. Wenceslas II himself founded the abbey Aula Regia at Zbraslav.
