Abstract
King Wenceslas II belonged to the most outstanding personalities on the royal throne of Bohemia. He was closely bond up with the Cistercian Order.
During his reign Heidenreich, the abbot at Sedlec, built its church on the cathedral grand plan. Wenceslas II himself founded the abbey Aula Regia at Zbraslav.
The study deals with the most important building enterprises bound up with Wenceslas II as well as his further foundations and royal representation.
