Abstract
The Chapter describes situation of religious education in the Czech Republic. First are presented the official Data about the population and their religiosity, number of Catholic School, and number of religious teachers.
In the third paragraph is described legislative status of religious education in the country and aims of the basic school and of the grammar school. The last paragraph describes situation of non-catholic religious education in the country.
