The First Letter to Thessalonians

Publication at Catholic Theological Faculty |
2007

Abstract

The First letter to Thessalonians is the oldest letter of Apostle Paul. He wrote it in the anxiety about the faith of the new Christian converts in Thessalonica.

They were confronted with the negative reaction of the society and with the experience of the death of some members from the community before the Jesus? parousia. The commentary brings the most important facts about the circumstances in which the letter was written and interprets the text verse by verse.
