Abstract
The book Strives of vision - Facets of modernity in Czech art 1890-1918 dwells on the complicated and complex evolution of Czech modern art at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth century. This period was formed by extraordinary creative fermentation and many talented artists brought to the Czech art scene contemporary European trends of modern art.
