The present study is a probe into the life and work of theologian Oto Mádr (15th February 1917) within the scope of the end of World War II till the onset of the Communist era, i.e. into the period, in which he wrote his early theological reflections and columns. The first part presents some data concerning Mádr´s activities in the given period, adding more to facts published heretofore.
The second part is accomplishment to Mádr´s bibliography of the period, based on detailed heuristic, providing concise, yet unsimplified contents of the texts. The purpose is to offer an insight into the budding reflexion of Oto Mádr, as yet omitted in the studies that have been dedicated to him.
