Several comments on the so called Slowakian Romani in the perspective of the contemporary efforts to standardize Romani and codify its spelling

Abstract

The article briefly outlines some issues related to the standardization and spelling codification of the so-called Slovakian Romani. It focuses primarily on the unsatisfactory level of knowledge in the Romani dialectology, resulting in numerous difficulties associated with the process of creating a language standard and its introduction into practice.
