Between Culture and Nature. On Sokol's criticism of the idea that human rigths are natural

Abstract

The article studies the criticism of Jan Sokol concerning the idea of natural foundation of human rights. It tries to lay bare some questionable points.

On the one hand, Sokol stresses the cultural source of human rights, on the other hand, he tries to ground these rights in obligations towards the other.
