The codification of the Land law for Upper Lusatia from 16th to 18th century

Abstract

The codifications of territorial Law for Upper Lusatia reflect the persisting friction between the sovereign and the estates, as well as within the estates (noblesse, clergy and towns) themselves. It is also interesting to study the context legal of the transmission of the marggraviat to the Saxe in 1635, which did not much influenced the following juristic situation in the land.
