Abstract
The geographical origin of the nuns of the Upper Lusatia in the 17. and 18. centuries reflects well the various relations between the abbeys Marienthal, Marienstern and Lauban and Bohemia: the greatest part of their communities was in fact formed by the Women from the neighbour north-western Bohemia and western Silesia.
