Language Policy of the Czech Republic (with special reference to the relations towards the EU and the Council of Europe)

Abstract

The study describes the language situation and policy in the Czech Republic after it joined the EU in 2004. It concentrates on the ratification of the European Charter for the Regional or Minority Languages.
