Abstract

At the present time, magnetic resonance has a leading position among other imaging methods in diagnostics of structural myocardial and pericardial changes including cardiac tumors, in assessment of myocardial viability, and exact quantification of functional cardiac parameters. ContrastenhancedMRangiography is very suitable for imaging of thoracic aortaandpulmonary vasculature, e.g. pulmonary veins before thermal ablation procedures.
