This is the first kind of publication that reacts to the need to use X-ray examinations as primary examinations. Authors offer practical advice for daily practice of dentists or dental hygienists.
It is also an apt literature source for students. The X- ray diagnostics of caries and parodontitis, technology of imaging and taking the X-ray using holders, the production of ?bitewing? images, the entire procedure of imaging by means of common films and visiography, and assessment of the image and their storing in archives are described in great detail.
