This article deals with causes, clinical features and diagnostics of the exogenous allergic alveolitis (EAA) and the possibilities of assessing it as occupational. Part of the paper is the casuistic of a patient who died of respiratory insufficiency at the age of 55 after 14 years of suffering from this occupational disease and also after a lung transplant.
Early and correct diagnosis is emphasized in regard to elimination of the risk of the potential antigen.
