Abstract
Nuclear medicine evaluation dates back to the early 1950s. Its progress was based on multiple discoveries in physics, chemistry and biology.
Contemporary field of interest is the high quality of functional imaging and therapeutic use of radiopharmaceuticals. Huge improvement in instruments and development of new radiopharmaceuticals enables moving from the anatomic to molecular level of diagnosis.
