Abstract

Objective: This study was undertaken to characterize systemic immunity in the patients with recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis. Conclusion: Although there is no fundamental disturbance in systemic immunity in patients with recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis and the majority of systemic immunological parameters in the patients were within normal range, some subtle changes of a few parameters of humoral and cellular immunity in contrast to the controls were identified.
