Abstract
Prosthetic valve dysfunction is a relatively rare but potentially fatal complication. The authors describe the case of sixty years old woman with cardiogenic shock due to prosthetic aortic valve obstruction.
Principal causes of these dysfunctions and the possibilities of diagnostics and management are discussed.
