Global quality of Life in Adult Patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia after Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation: Cross-Sectional and Retrospective Study

Abstract

The authors explore the global quality of life in 12 adult patients with acute myeloid leukemia after haematopoietic stem cell transplantation at the Department of Clinical Haematology of the 2nd Department of Internal Medicine, University Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Hradec Králové. The EuroQol methodology (European Quality of Life Questionnaire EQ-5D) was used in evaluating the effects of selected aspects on the global quality of life (age, sex, level of education, religion, smoking abuse, polymorbidity, marital status, type of transplantation (autologous or allogeneic) and the lapse time from transplantation.
