Abstract
The authors assess the significance of the lateral sinus lift in current implantology. They prefer the variant of operation protocol that minimizes both the surgical and financial burden on the patient.
They attach notes about contraindications and deal with the most frequent complications. They conclude after comparing the method with alternative procedures that, in spite of some disadvantages, the lateral sinus lift is the most effective method of implantation into the dorsal region of the maxilla.
