Abstract
At present, the pharmacotherapy of bronchial asthma is efficient and enables most patients to have good control of the disease so that they may lead full and rich lives. Corticosteroid inhalants are the primary preventive treatment of all stages of the persistent asthma.
The benefit of pharmacotherapy by these inhalants in recommended daily dosages outweighs the risks of systemic adverse effects. According to medical knowledge based on evidence, the pharmaceutical therapy of asthma does not influence the final body height of the child, does not cause osteoporosis, fractures or cataract.
Yeast infection in the oral cavity and hoarseness are rare.
