Abstract
The study informs readers about the career of Ida Jean Orland and her share in nursing care and society humanization. It characterizes the principal conceptions of Orland´s models and dynamic interactive process and theory of nursing process.
In the case report of a 47-year-old woman it demonstrates how the model that comes from the human system can be applied practically by the method of nursing care procedures in surgical nursing care.
