Abstract
A case report of a female patient with a refractory detrusor instability is described. It was successfully treated by auto-augmentation of the urinary bladder.
The discussion brings comparison of the auto-augmentation and augmentational cystoplasty. Auto-augmentation remains still a non-standard method and its indication must be considered carefully.
