A case of a patient addicted to alcohol, metamphetamine (pervitin) and canabinoids (marihuana) who, in spite of repeated stays in the addict rehabilitation centre and follow-up in the outpatient care, lost contact with the therapists and went back on drugs. Some facts that might have been the cause of treatment failure are discussed, for example disperagation of the pervitin addiction or not making use of the medication therapy options.
