Isothermal haemodialysis

Abstract

During routine haemodialysis, body temperature increases, but so called isothermal dialysis allows to keep body temperature constant. This is achieved using the biofeedback principle with the continuous changes of dialysis solution temperature and the thermal balance of the procedure is allways negative.

Isothermic dialysis offers much better hemodynamic stability.
