Inflammation of vagina represents the most frequent reason for visiting gynaecological clinic. Since these are recurrent complaints in some patients, there are greater demands laid on the doctor. In order to enable purposeful care provided by the treating gynaecologist and to enable correct orientation in these problems for him/her, it is necessary apart from theoretical knowledge and practical experience also the possibility of an active cooperation with a clinical microbiologist
