Abstract

Hyperandrogenism has both laboratory and clinical manifestations. The former mean either higher values of some androgens or normal values of androgens with increased peripheral sensitivity to them.

It may be either the influence of higher peripheral activity of 5alpha-reductase or that the level of SHBG is lower from some reasons.
